Potential Fields Pool Equipment (PFPE)

The Potential Fields Pool Equipment (PFPE) provides and supports gravimeters and magnetometers across the UNOLS academic research fleet. Based at WHOI and largely NSF-funded, PFPE maintains equipment, reduces operational costs, supports data collection aboard nine research vessels, and provides 24/7 technical assistance to technicians throughout the U.S. oceanographic community.
