Barge Operations (November 2026):
- 100’ x 60’ spud barge to support five cable landings and protection in Lake Superior, barge will also be used as dive platform
- Tug to support barge movements
- Dive team to install 200m of articulated pipe protection on cables, articulated pipe segments are cast iron (0.5m length = 20kg weight)
- Dive team to include surface supplied air and communications
- Operating depths = 0 to 20m
- ~2 weeks of operations
Tug Operations (November 2026):
- Tug to support cable landing operations and to be used as dive platform in Lake Superior
- Divers to support landing cable at beach and provide cable management on seabed
- Five cables to be landed, 2-3 days apart, cables will be bundled together after each landing
- Dive team to manage cables on lakebed and bundle cables together following landing
- Dive team to include surface supplied air and communications
- Operating depths = 0 to 20m
- ~15 days of operations
