The Summer Student Fellow program brings bright, talented students to Woods Hole to learn more about ocean science, attend lectures by Woods Hole scientists, and conduct independent research working alongside world-class scientists.
WHOI offers special educational opportunities in oceanography for minority undergraduates who are enrolled in U.S. colleges or universities.
WHOI does not conduct a formal internship program, but a limited number of college graduates and undergraduates and advanced high school students are accepted as student volunteers in our laboratories on a year-round basis.
