This diagram illustrates the vertical layers of the ocean, ranging from the sunlit surface to the hadal trenches. It highlights the distinct biological zones—including the Mesopelagic "Twilight" and Bathypelagic "Midnight" zones—where varying light and pressure levels support unique marine life.
