Geophysical Fluid Dynamics
July 8, 2018Each summer since 1959, a select group of graduate students comes to WHOI to study with leading oceanographers, physicists, and mathematicians in the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Program. The field focuses on the fundamental physics and motions of fluids, which apply to oceanography, meteorology, astrophysics, hydrodynamics and a host of other fields.
