Tina Mendousa

The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution announces with great sorrow the death of retiree Tina Mendousa on December 26. She was 87.

Tina began her career at WHOI in 1973 as housekeeper.  She left in 1981.

Tina was the beloved wife of 66 years to the late Anthony Mendousa and loving mother to son Anthony F. Mendousa and daughter Andrea Mendousa Priest and her husband Edward Priest and their children Gabriella Priest and Christopher Priest.

A Celebration of Life, to honor a life of love and devotion, will be held on Saturday, February 21, at 2:00 p.m., at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Middleboro, 25 South Main Street, Middleboro, Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands, Inc. (68 Route 134, South Dennis, Mass., 02660) or to the Friends of the Middleboro Public Library (102 North Main Street, Middleborough, Mass., 02346. Friends can also sponsor a membership family pass to the Heritage Plantation and Gardens of Sandwich to honor her love of flowers.
