Timothy John Connors

The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution announces with great sorrow the death of retiree Timothy John Connors in May. He was 50.

Tim was born on January 28, 1962.  He graduated from Taunton High School in Taunton, MA, in 1980. He attended Wentworth Institute of Technology for Electronics, and Boston University for Biology.

Tim began his career at WHOI in 1988 as a research assistant in electronics.  In 1991, he was promoted to engineering assistant and Alvin pilot.  He left in 1993.

There will be a funeral service on June 29, at 10:00 a.m., at St. John Neumann’s Church, 157 Middleboro Road in East Freetown, MA.
