Dong Wan (Lewis) Kim, Postdoctoral Investigator, joins WHOI’s PO Department.  Lewis earned his PhD in Meteorology and Atmospheric Science from Pennsylvania State University.  Lewis’s research interest are atmospheric dynamics, teleconnection, extreme weather, climate variability and air-sea interaction.  Currently, Lewis is working with Young-Oh Kwon on air-sea interaction (the role of western boundary currents in the atmospheric circulation).  Lewis enjoys classical music, playing the piano and photography.
