Research Associate Tessa Giacoppo
Tessa will be working with Caroline Ummenhofer modeling past climate data based on descriptions from old whaling log-book records. She recently graduated with degrees in Earth Systems and Geology from UMass Amherst. During her junior and senior years, Tessa conducted research on hydrologic controls on carbon dioxide fluxes in stream systems.
Tessa likes to spend her free time dancing and spending time outdoors – hiking, going to the beach and getting ice cream.
