PO scientists and engineers track pathways of freshwater from Greenland and the Arctic

Dan Torres, Jim Dunn, and Andy Davies successfully deployed seven moorings in a brief three day weather window on the Labrador Shelf. These moorings will be recovered next fall and the data will help track pathways of freshwater coming from the Greenland Ice Sheet and the Arctic as part of an NSF-funded project led by Nick Foukal, Dan Torres, and Amy Bower.  (Photo provided by Nick Foukal)
