Susan Brown-Leger
The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution announces with great sorrow the death of retiree Susan Brown-Leger on February 28. Susan passed away peacefully in her sun-filled bedroom with her husband, Ed, and two close friends at her side. She was 65.
Susan began her career at WHOI in 1976 as a research assistant II in the Biology Department. In 1996, she transferred to the Chemistry Department and became a research assistant III. In 2005, she transferred to the G&G Department and was promoted to a senior research assistant I. She retired in 2011.
Susan valued her friendships and the support she received throughout the years.
