Carbon on the Move

Carbon on the Move

December 16, 2014

Carbon makes the world go around. It is the building block of life on Earth, and in the form of carbon dioxide gas in the atmosphere, it has a powerful impact on the planet’s climate. You can learn more about the carbon cycle at the Ocean Science Exhibit Center‘s exhibit Carbon on the Move. The Center features the Institution’s ocean science research, as well as vessels and tools developed by WHOI engineers and scientists for use in that research. The center is open during December Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Check our website for hours between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
