Woods Hole Sea Grant director and WHOI marine chemist Matt Charette pulls a CTD onto the fantail of research vessel Tioga during a summer field trip for members of the WHOI 1930 Society. This year’s program, Think Beyond the Meal: How Aquaculture on Cape Cod Benefits Our Economy and Water Quality, was a collaboration between Woods Hole Sea Grant scientists and the owners of Cottage City Oysters. The event highlighted the benefits of aquaculture innovations and the research underlying them. (Photo by Kelly Westerhouse, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution)
