Sentry, a new autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) built by engineers at WHOI, is loaded onto the R/V Tioga for testing operations during December 2007. WHOI's newest autonomous underwater vehicle, Sentry, is launched from the research vessel Thomas Thompson in August 2008 during the AUV's first scientific expedition.
