Research Interests
My research interests are broadly focused in fisheries ecology with specific emphasis on quantifying the role of biotic and abiotic interactions on population and community maintenance in coastal ecosystems.  My research spans from the behavioral responses of fish to changing environmental gradients at the individual-level to food web dynamics at the ecosystem-level. To that end, my research integrates a variety of quantitative approaches to answer ecological questions that are of broad significance to fisheries management.

Emphasis Areas
Fish & Fisheries Ecology, Statistics, Biogeochemical approaches to fish ecology (i.e., stable isotopes & otolith microchemistry), and Spatial Ecology
