WOODS HOLE, MA: The annual Woods Hole Fourth of July Parade will be held on Thursday, July 4. The unique, science-themed parade will begin at 12 noon at the entrance to the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution parking lot, located on School Street in Woods Hole. The long-time Wood Hole tradition, organized by the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL), brings students, scientists, locals, and visitors together to celebrate Independence Day with costumes, dancing, and music. The parade will travel down School Street to Water Street in Woods Hole. Immediately following the procession there will be free watermelon available, courtesy of the MBL, in Waterfront Park, 100 Water Street.
