Special Seminar: NASA SciX Research Platform

October 19 @ 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Anna Kelbert, ADS/SciX
Sponsored by: WHOI Ocean Informatics Working Group – Redfield Auditorium

Have you heard of the Science Explorer platform, SciX? Created by NASA, SciX is a search and discovery platform that connects scientific literature to funded projects, datasets, and software across the Earth and space sciences. SciX collects, curates, and enriches that content so researchers worldwide can find what they need faster, across disciplines. The repository currently contains over 37 million bibliographic records, over one million datasets, software, and funded projects, and over 400 million citations linking publications, datasets, software & projects into a graph that can be explored using the SciX platform’s features and tools. BCO-DMO and the WHOI Ocean Informatics Working Group are co-sponsoring a SciX webinar on Monday, October 19, in Redfield Auditorium. Come learn more about this powerful research tool from the SciX team!
