BEHIND THE SCENES OF DIVING DEEP: USING MACHINES TO EXPLORE THE OCEAN

Join author Michelle Cusolito and a panel of experts on June 24 from 2-3 p.m., in Redfield Auditorium. Michelle will read a short passage from her upcoming book Diving Deep: Using Machines to Explore the Ocean and discuss how she worked with experts to make sure the book is accurate.  The reading will be followed by an audience Q&A and a panel discussion including the following experts:
• Bruce Strickrott, ALVIN Manager, Operational Scientific Services
• Kayla Gardner, MIT-WHOI Joint Program Student, Biology Department
• Phil Renaud, Program Manager of the Ocean Twilight Zone Project
Moderated by WHOI’s Director of Community Relations, Kathy Patterson. Books will be available for purchase after the talk. Hope to see you there!
