WOODS HOLE PUBLIC LIBRARY: Robotics Program
February 24, 2020 @ 4:00 pm
A new program about robotics is starting at the library. Woods Hole winter resident Phillip Neal will be leading a Robotics Interest Group on sequential Monday afternoons at 4 p.m., starting on February 24. The one-hour sessions will focus on discussing, learning about, and building robots; it will be offered to the public, adults and children (aged above 9 years old) alike. At this point, he envisions each session including a brief introductory talk, a time for people to work together, and a wrap-up show-and-tell. He believes that robots should be made of cheap off-the-shelf parts, and this program will fulfill that approach.
