Come and learn about how these humble bivalves live and survive in the marine habitat -- and how they affect their environment! Learn field sampling techniques, and an activity to use with your classes!

The workshop presenter is William Walton, aquaculture specialist with Woods Hole Sea Grant and Cape Cod Cooperative Extension

Who can attend?


The workshop material is geared for the middle and high school level, but educators (formal & informal) of any level are welcome to attend. Space is limited to 30 participants. Certificates for PDPs will be awarded.

Each participant will receive a resource binder with additional print materials, background articles, helpful Web links, and sample related activities to use in the classroom.

Registration Information
