Postdoctoral Investigator Carolina Camargo
Carolina Camargo, Postdoctoral Investigator, joins WHOI’s PO Department. Carolina earned her PhD in Geosciences from Delft University of Technology & Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (NIOZ). Her research interests are sea-level change, satellite altimetry, remote sensing and ocean turbulence. Carolina is currently working with Chris Piecuch and Britt Raubenheimer (AOP&E), looking at the influence of ocean dynamics, such as currents, on coastal sea level along the New England coast. In her free time, Carolina enjoys walking, cuddling and exploring the outdoors with her dog, Napoleon. She is always working on a creative side project, ranging from toilet roll craft, to painting by numbers, to watercolor painting.
