Postdoctoral Investigator Glenn Liu joins WHOI’s PO Department. Glenn earned his PhD from the MIT-WHOI Joint Program. His research interests are large-scale atmosphere-ocean dynamics, climate variability/predictability, hierarchical modeling and data-driven approaches. He is currently working with Young-Oh Kwon on understanding and quantifying drivers of Atlantic variability, with focus on mixed-layer dynamics.

In his free time, Glenn enjoys cooking/baking, hiking stargazing and severe weather.
