Cruise Synopsis
The purpose of the synopsis is to provide a single, concise document identifying all equipment, operational, technical support and logistical requirements for the cruise, and is accessible via the web to all persons affected by the cruise.
The synopsis attempts to identify potential problem areas, special needs, unresolved issues, the personnel responsible for providing equipment and services.
The Marine Operations Coordinator, based upon communications
with the science party via email, phone, fax, etc., modifies
the synopsis.
