Review & Approval Groups

Two groups must review and approve new or revised policies that affect the entire WHOI community.

Completed drafts or revisions are distributed to the Policy Advisory Group (PAG), made up of managers, administrators, and other senior personnel from across the Institution, including both science and administrative departments. Upon PAG acceptance, the policy goes to the Executive Policy Review Group (EPRG), comprised of the Institution’s Directorate. EPRG meets as needed to review proposed or significantly revised policies.
