Getting to the meeting
The meeting will be at the Gallaudet University's Kellogg Conference Center, 800 Florida Ave., NE, Washington, DC. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is the closest airport and on the Metro line, which will take you directly to the meeting venue. To reach either the Conference Center and its hotel or the Courtyard Washington DC/US Capitol hotel from DCA, take the Red Line towards Silver Spring and Glenmont, but get off at the NoMa -- Gallaudet U. stop. 

The meeting will begin Wednesday morning, September 18, at 8:45 am and run until Friday, September 20, at 4:00 pm. Please plan your travel accordingly.

Day parking
The parking garage for free day parking for commuters is located directly behind the Kellogg Conference Center hotel.  If you look on the campus map (linked on the top right of this web page) on the top left there is a "P" - that is the parking garage.


**Unlike many other OCB meetings, regular attendees are responsible for reserving their own hotel for the OAPI 2013 meeting!**

We have room blocks reserved at two hotels. Both hotels are $209 plus 14.5 % room tax per night. In addition the Courtyard Marriott has a parking fee of $33 per night.

Room blocks will be released August 17, 2013.

The room rate is $209.00 plus 14.5 % sales sales tax, included your overnight parking.

The Courtyard Marriott, US Capitol/Washington DC

To register, click on the below link, you will be directed to the hotel's home page with the group code for a King Room already entered in the group code field. If you wish to reserve a Queen/Queen Room, please enter OCEOCEB in the group code field. Next, all you need to do is enter your ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE date to begin the reservation process. Below is a review of the available room type(s) and their corresponding group code(s):

Breakfast is not included in the room rate.

If you prefer to make your reservation by telephone, you can call our reservations department at 1 888 236 2427 and ask for the Ocean Acidification Principal Investigator's Workshop Overflow Room Block at the Courtyard US Capitol.

The cut off date for your reservation is August 30, 2013. The rooms are available until 5:00pm on this date. After 5:00pm, any unreserved rooms will be released back in to general inventory.

The Courtyard US Capitol provides overnight parking to all their guests for $33.00 per vehicle, per day.
