SWMS Takes on Diversity in STEM

The Society for Women in Marine Science (SWMS) is holding its 2018 Fall Symposium tomorrow (Sat., Sept. 22) in Woods Hole. Last year’s meeting (pictured) focused on women scientists finding confidence in declaring their scientific authority. This year, the symposium will discuss the need for increased diversity in science and engineering. Registration for this popular event is already full, but the two keynote presentations will be live-streamed at 9:15 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the SWMS Facebook page.
