Learn about the Institution's ocean science research and the vessels and tools developed by WHOI engineers and scientists for use in that research.
During the summer months, volunteers guide visitors on tours through the WHOI dock area and other restricted village facilities.
WHOI holds events for the public that include talks by scientists and tours of ships and vehicles. Check here for more information.
During the months of July and August, enjoy weekly lectures from WHOI scientists, technicians, and students about what they do and why knowledge about the ocean matters.
Each Friday at noon in Redfield Auditorium, WHOI sponsors a free talk or video on a topical subject.
