 | The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, with support from the Pew Charitable Trusts, has convened a small, diverse panel of experts with scientific, regulatory, business and policy-making backgrounds to evaluate key issues related to regulating aquaculture operations in marine waters. To address aquaculture's risks and maximize its benefits, the Marine Aquaculture Task Force will develop a suite of protective, science-based standards to assure that aquaculture development poses minimal threats to the ocean environment.
