Summer 2007

This summer our project hosted several undergraduate student researchers.

Christine Blachly is a student at Emory University, and she worked with Dr. Rebecca Gast on the detection of zoonotic pathogens in tissue and fecal samples. This work helped to finish our proposed surveillance of marine animals for this part of the project, and yielded several interesting discoveries.
