WHOI provides dental coverage through Delta Dental, the largest dental benefits provider in Massachusetts. As an eligible participant in benefits, you have the option of choosing between individual or family dental coverage. Individual coverage is at no cost to the employees. Additional rates apply for the addition of family members to the plan.

Delta Dental Plan
When enrolled in WHOI's Delta Dental Plan, your dental benefits include four types of services—diagnostic and preventive, basic restorative, major restorative and child orthodontia.

Family Coverage
As a participant in WHOI benefits, you may enroll family members for dental insurance coverage including your Spouse/Domestic Partner (same-or opposite-sex) and dependent children.

Rate Sheet
See the total cost and employee share of the costs for the Institution's dental plan.

Dental Rollover Max
Starting January 2008, WHOI employees enrolled in dental coverage can bank a portion of their unused annual benefit dollars for use the following year.
