Everyone is welcome to the Women’s Committee annual dinner on Wednesday, June 10, in Clark 507. The event starts with a reception at 4:30 p.m., followed by our speaker at 5:30 p.m., and a buffet dinner at 6:30 p.m. This year’s speaker is Associate Scientist Karen Bice, who recently finished a Master’s degree at Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Karen’s talk is entitled “Short Stories about Climate Change & Cutting Class for Chemo.” The reception and talk are free; dinner costs $25 for employees, $12 for students, and $30 for non-WHOI. Please RSVP to Diane Rieger, MS 1, by June 3. If you plan to attend the dinner, please include a check payable to WHOI.
