Research Interests
Zooplankton taxonomy, especially crustacea and Calanoid copepods in particular; pteropod taxonomy; quantitative population ecology of zooplankton with emphasis on zooplankton small scale distribution and abundance; biology of Gulf Stream Rings; zooplankton associated with deep sea hydrothermal vents; determination of zooplankton biomass, abundance, and size. Census of Marine Zooplankton taxonomist for calanoid copepods and euphausiids, web updates, contact person for outreach and education.
