CICOR provides support for at least one graduate student. Graduate Students are part of the MIT-WHOI Joint Program. The MIT-WHOI Joint Program is one of the premier marine science programs in the world. Graduate Student Researchers will be associated with the research activities related to CICOR themes and funded through CICOR. Program development costs support the WHOI-NOAA Cooperative Institute for Climate and Ocean Research educational program.

Carlos MoffatCarlos Moffat, 2005-2007 Graduate Student Researcher
Carlos Moffat's research was aimed at understanding the circulation of the coastal ocean of the shelf west of the Antarctic Peninsula.

Tom FarrarTom Farrar, 2005-2006 Graduate Student Researcher
Tom Farrar's research focused on the Inter- Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), also known as the doldrums.

Rob JenningsRob Jennings, 2004 - 2005 Graduate Student Researcher
Rob Jennings research focused on population genetic variation of the marine polychaete worm Clymenella torquata (a bamboo worm of the faimly Maldanidae).

J. Steven FriesJ. Steven Fries, 1999 - 2000 Graduate Student Researcher
J. Steven Fries research centered around flume studies dentifying the mechanisms controlling deposition of fine particles with a focus on sediment transport, interfacial flows, and permeability at the sediment-water interface.
