Rachel Mann

Rachel Mann is a science writer and multimedia storyteller at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution who tells stories about ocean research and the people behind it. She began her career as an associate producer at WJAR-TV in Providence, Rhode Island, before moving into full-time reporting roles at Fox ABC Maine and WCAX-TV. Her work has included coverage of the devastating July 2023 floods across New England, as well as in-depth reporting on water contamination issues at the Passamaquoddy Pleasant Point Reservation in Maine. Outside of work, she can usually be found in the mountains, searching for a good cup of coffee, or planning her next adventure.
