Sidcot School is a thriving co-educational, non-selective boarding and day school situated in 150 acres of beautiful countryside on the edge of the Mendip Hills close to the cites of Bristol, Bath and Wells in South West England. First founded in 1699 and reopened in 1808, Sidcot offers a blend of excellent traditional and state-of-the-art facilities to its 520 pupils aged between 3 to 18 years.

We see relationships as a key element in the school’s ethos which draws from our Quaker heritage and is evident in our welcoming and friendly atmosphere; this is particularly important for our overseas students coming from 25 different countries contributing to a truly multi-cultural experience for all pupils. Quakerism is an open faith that accepts all, faith or none, and treats everyone as equals, with respect and encourages them to challenge their thinking in a safe environment. We believe by enabling children to be adventurous in exploring the world around them, they will develop confidence in themselves and be more likely to reach their potential as individuals.
