Veteran teacher Pat Keoughan coordinates the interactions between the science team and 14 schools from the USA, Iceland, Norway, United Kingdom, and Netherlands. She will also be answering students' questions about shipboard life.

International student explorers
During our expedition to the Denmark Strait, students from schools in the United States, United Kingdom, Iceland, Netherlands, and Norway will be joining us through this website.

Things to learn
Students are invited to read the daily dispatches and learn how scientists study the ocean and what they are learning. They will also find out what it is like to live on a research vessel! Teachers or student class leaders will organize their class's questions and forward them to the scientists on their scheduled email dates. Answers from the science team will be posted the next day to the Email Exchange page.
