Things to do at WHOI
Visitors to WHOI's Exhibit Center will learn about the Institution's ocean science research and the vessels and tools developed by WHOI engineers and scientists for use in that research.
During July and August, knowledgeable WHOI volunteers guide visitors on free walking tours through the WHOI dock area and other restricted village facilities. Tours are offered at 10:30 a.m., and 1:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. Reservations are required.

During the months of July and August, enjoy weekly lectures from WHOI scientists, technicians, and students about what they do and why knowledge about the ocean matters. Lectures are held on Tuesdays at 3:00 p.m., in the Ocean Science Exhibit Center Auditorium. Reservations are not necessary.
Learn about what WHOI has to offer teachers, including special programs, teacher workshops, and materials for classes.
Each Friday at noon in Redfield Auditorium, WHOI sponsors a free talk or video on a topical subject.
