Marc Rosenbaum, P.E., Energysmiths, will outline the methods for achieving homes that require little or no fossil fuel based energy to power them. The workshop begins with a presentation of typical residential energy loads and methods for reducing them. The focus then shifts to energy supply and available sources are presented and evaluated. To conclude, Marc will present several case studies designed to be zero annual net energy homes.
