About Us

The Coastal Training Program (CTP) is a unique, federal-state partnership to provide training opportunities that address the challenges being faced by our coastal communities. The Massachusetts CTP is the first program in the nation to get approved and is coordinated by the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (WBNERR), the Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management (CZM), and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Sea Grant Program (WHOI Sea Grant). CTP partners held a kick-off event on April 29th 2003 to explain this exciting initiative to the training providers and decision makers working in our treasured coastal areas.
