A visit to Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is your ticket to ocean science discovery!

Explore our historic seaside campus, home to the world's largest community of marine scientists and engineers. Take a walking tour, enjoy the exhibits and gift shop at our Ocean Science Discovery Center, and ask questions or buy a souvenir at our Visitor Center. Stop at the Visitor Center and Store to ask a question, pick up maps of Woods Hole village, get information about research at WHOI, and learn about upcoming activities and events. You'll find a full array of WHOI shirts and hats, plus other ocean-themed mementos, in our gift shop.

Immerse yourself in WHOI research through interactive exhibits on the discovery and exploration of the Titanic, polar research, the ocean twilight zone, and more! Climb inside a replica of the deep sea submersible Alvin and touch the bite marks on the shark-tracking robot SharkCam. There's something for everyone to discover– including items in our gift shop.
