Take a Science Stroll Tomorrow

Visitors line up to take a tour of WHOI’s research vessel Atlantis and the human-occupied submsersible, Alvin, during the 2017 Woods Hole Science Stroll. The ship and sub will be back for this year’s stroll tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Reservations are needed, but there is a standby line.) Get more information about the free event here. The breadth of scientific organizations in Woods Hole will have exhibits and activities. Talk with scientists and engineers about conducting research in difficult ocean conditions. See autonomous and remotely operated vehicles used in ocean research. Learn about climate change, ocean currents, and ocean exploration. Make Science Stroll souvenirs at kids’ activities table.
