Catch of the Day

Postdoctoral fellow Rhian Waller holds a bundle of tubeworms collected during a seafloor dive by scientists in the Alvin submersible to the Galapagos Rift. Waller is a benthic ecologist who is particularly interested in corals and other seafloor organisms and what they can tell us about the evolution of life and climate on the planet.
