In the Middle of It All
December 22, 2016The expansive poster hall is a staple of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting held annually in December. The meeting, which draws approximately 25,000 attendees each year, is the largest Earth and space science meeting in the world. In the middle of it all, you’ll find WHOI scientists presenting the latest research and discoveries in ocean sciences. At the 2016 meeting, held last week in San Francisco, WHOI scientist emeritus Stan Hart was awarded the AGU’s highest honor: the William Bowie Medal.
