The Art of Marine Science

March 14, 2012

Falmouth High School ceramics art teacher Corine Adams set up student pieces created in the art course Clay II for display at WHOI recently. The students were assigned to create three pieces of work relating to marine biology. With help from their Marine Science teacher, the students were able to view real-life visuals such as shells, corals, horseshoe crabs, and fish to design their work. The display contains some of the students’ best pieces. (Photo by Tom Kleindinst, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution)
