Dive and Discover

Dive and Discover is an interactive distance learning web site designed to immerse you in the excitement surrounding discovery and exploration of the deep seafloor. One of the most iconic moments in seafloor exploration was the discovery of hydrothermal vents in 1977. This site chronicles the gradual accumulation of knowledge that preceded that event, as well as the stunning diversity of discoveries that have happened since.
