A stack of letters in “Santa’s Mailbox” in Nuuk, Greenland await delivery to the North Pole. A giant red mailbox located in downtown Nuuk stands right outside the town’s post office. It is filled each year with thousands of letters addressed to Santa Claus. Alexander Dorsk took this photo in October 2009 while the R/V Knorr was docked at Nuuk in preparation for a cruise around Greenland. Merry Christmas!
