Diving safety officer Terry Rioux (shown here in his office) is responsible for all day-to-day aspects of scuba diving at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), including review and enforcement of diving safety regulations, diver training and certification, approval of dive plans and equipment for scientific projects. Rioux will retire at the end of March after 30 years of service at WHOI.
