Maldive medusae illustration

This Maldive medusae was illustrated by Henry Bigelow, a prominent marine biologist and the first director of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI). Bigelow was known for his extensive work with gelatinous marine organisms, and his illustrations are still considered accurate and beautiful today.
