De Kastanjepoort is een openbare basisschool met ongeveer 90 kinderen in de kern van het prachtige dorp Erichem. De school is in 1953 gebouwd en in 2008 verbouwd en opgeknapt.

Naast regulier onderwijs aan drie groepen, wordt er aan drie groepen Leonardo onderwijs geboden. Leonardo onderwijs is speciaal onderwijs voor hoogbegaafde leerlingen.

Wat de Kastanjepoort uniek maakt is dat het een veilige, sfeervolle en modern ingerichte school is met gevarieerd, uitdagend onderwijs met veel extra vakken. De groepen zijn klein en de kinderen mogen zichzelf zijn.

The school De Kastanjepoort is a public primary school with approximately 90 children in the heart of the beautiful village Erichem in The Netherlands. The School was established in 1953, and rebuilt in 2008.

Beside regular education to three groups, Leonardo education is given to three groups. Leonardo education is special education for gifted students.  

What makes De Kastanjepoort unique is that it is a safe, attractive and modern school with a variety and challenging education with a lot of extra subjects. The groups are small and children can be themselves.
