English

The Jenaplanschool Het Schateiland (Jenaplanschool the treasure island, in Gouda, the Netherlands) is a public primary school in the historical city Gouda. It consists of three parallel classes each comprising pupils from group 6, 7 and 8 (is 4, 5 and 5 grade corresponding to US). We work in with a rythmic weekly program, what implies that we are alternately busy with: ring, game work and celebration. Tolerance, respect and emancipation are the main themes and the basis for our education.

The goal of our efforts is to let the school be a reflection of the society in which we live. From this attitude we want to give qualitative good education to children. We aim to challenge all children to optimum performances, by on one hand offer rest, structure and safety and on the other hand stimulate creativity.

Our main goal is: every child is unique and should be respected!
